CATCH the BUZZ!!! Bay Community Children’s Ministry consists not only of Discovery Club, but also Children’s Church which meets during the Sunday morning Service, and other fun activities that are planned for the children through-out the year. CATCH the BUZZ is an acrostic for the
Children’s Ministry core values:
C - stands for Call. As the children call their friends and reach out to others.
A- stands for Adore. Jesus is the reason we are together and we adore Him.
T - stands for Teach and Grow – as the children learn Biblical lessons.
C - stands for Care. We learn to care for others first. This includes Operation
Christmas Child and other activities of outreach and local service projects
in which we participate.
H - stands for Huddle Up. We come together in a huddle in Discovery Club and
Children’s Church to get our game plan from God.
We use bees and buzz to coincide with our church's core values, which uses the acrostic HIVES.
CATCH the BUZZ!!! is now sponsoring a boy from
DISCOVERY CLUB - This is a club which meets weekly for children grades K-6. It is a fun, safe place where kids learn Christian values and grow spiritually by studying, memorizing and applying Scripture, as well as making crafts and playing games. The club is affiliated with Pioneer Clubs, a nationally known organization. It is set up so that children earn badges for Scripture memorization and for life skills learned.
